Alright onwards to the beautiful Greek Island of Paros!
We arrived mid morning a bit before lunch.. after we had settled into our hostel our guide had organised for us to visit a little restaurant along the waterfront together for a group lunch.
Jess and I then decided we wanted to spend some time exploring the main town ship where the beautiful Greek laneways are. We did some exploring through there, browsed some shops and got some ice-cream.
Jess then decided to take a nap for this evening and I joined the rest of the group down by the water on the “beach” for some sunbathing and swimming. I cut my foot on a rock in the water though which ended up hurting for quite a while into my trip 😦 so remember again to try and be careful.
We all went back to our hostels to freshen up, get some washing and stuff done and have a nap and chill out. The island of Paros is very mellow in a way, no party vibe here (although things can get very rowdy).
This evening we all signed up to do an activity with the guide and group where we go to this beautiful restaurant by the beach/bay at sunset, have cocktails and a 3 course Greek feast and then some ouzo shots and plate smashing while dancing to Greek music haha! It was a very lovely and chilled out evening with beautiful food and lots of fun!
A few of us then decided to hang back in town at a shisha bar for some cocktails and shisha. We were all very giggly and chilled out and had some good fun and chats.
We then retired for the evening to get ready for an early and big day tomorrow.

Day 2 on Paros and we had all signed up to take a lovely boat trip around the mediterranean waters with a stop at “Antiparos Island” for a lunch BBQ and some beach games.
We were all up early and on the bus to the boat dock. We then all got onto our sailing type boat that we had hired for us and found some comfy places to lay down and chill out. The boat had little day beds all along the middle for us to stretch out and lay down and some seats along the side to watch the water go past.
We sailed around to some beautiful little swim spots around the place for us to jump off the boat and into the water to paddle around for a bit. We then made it to Antiparos Island where we sunbathed, swam, played volleyball, skipped rocks and feasted on a beautiful BBQ lunch cooked by our guide and the Boat Driver.
On the way back we stopped at a few more swim spots and had a few drinks on the boat. A few of us had a little nap due to being pretty tired and we just relaxed all over the boat.
This evening our guide had offered to take us on a bit of a bar crawl which we were very excited about. We went back to the shisha bar where we downed a few crazy shots (bounty, mars bar etc. SOO delicious), some of the girls that joined us after Mykonos (they were doing extra nights on each Island as it’s a flexible thing) and I got talking and stayed back at the Shisha bar a little longer.
We then caught up to the group down the road a bit at this cool bar where they put little rubber duckies in their drink (these feature again later down the track) and we had a few more cocktails and danced with each other on the dance floor to epic songs that we all love and know back home (Bohemian Rhapsody & King Kunta by Kendrick Lamar). This will actually remain a highlight for me from this trip haha.
We then ended up at this cool bar/club and karaoke bar for the rest of the night. We danced on chairs, in cages and all over the place. I actually tried to leap over a bar stool but ended up landing smack bang on top of it with open thighs. I had bruised and lumpy inner thighs for days hahahaah.
We then sung a whole bunch of karaoke up until the wee hours of the night (4am?) Where I decided I should probably go home and then realised I didn’t know how to get home haha?? So I tried to get my google maps working and wandered around the streets for a while until I found my way.
This evening was one of the best I had on my entire trip, was a great night with so much fun haha!
Then had to be up early again for another early ferry to Santorini baby 🙂
